How did you all meet?

3 of the players are my nephews, the others all work at local restaurants and coffee shops.

Where did your name originate?

Long Beach was a big oil DRILLING town.

Tell us a little bit about your hometown?

San Diego.... the best city on earth... especially the beaches and cool people.

Is your style of play different from the NDL's and how so?

Same....but we like enclosed courts so we don't need to worry about stepping out of bounds... we prefer people get out from being hit by a ball.

Tell us about your sponsor or league that you play in?

My Company, Environmental Construction is our sponsor... we just signed up to play in the Orange County Dodgeball league.

Did anyone win big while you were at the tournament in Vegas?

Nobody lost much....our biggest winner was $800.

Do you and your teammates play any other sports together?

Sure... not all but some of us play baseball, surf, dominoes, and of coarse drinking good beer.

What is it about dodgeball that made you want to play?

Inspired by the movie... love the game....

How often do you play or practice together during the week?

We practiced once a week, we had never played a real game before the tourney.

Tell us something interesting about one of your teammates?

Travis works at Quiksilver, the large surf retailer, and he wore his uniform to work one day and they all took his picture, and put him in the magazine, and will probably be putting together a team... was pretty funny.
